Rena Marie Guidry, is a drama therapist who is committed to working with groups using the the mediums of theatre and dance. She believes that there is power in performance, particularly when the participants develop productions directly from their actual experiences.
She has spent the last fifteen years teaching, mentoring, and counseling youth in under-served communities. She has been shaped by her experiences, and remains committed to social justice work.
Rena Marie is also an actor and dancer/choreographer who has recently begun teaching Rhythm and Motion dance workout classes at ODC Dance Commons in San Francisco. This program, along with her womenPOWERMENT groups have given her the opportunity to expand and inspire adults as well.
